Born on November 15, 1957 in the village of Georgievka, Kurday district, Dzhambul region, Kazakh SSR.

In 1979 he graduated from the Leningrad Higher Artillery Command School. He served in positions from platoon commander to chief of the Main Organizational-Mobilization Directorate - Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In 2001 he graduated from the Higher Academic Courses of the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation “Military Security of the State”.

From December 2000 to October 2002 - Head of the Main Organization and Mobilization Directorate - Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic.

From October 2002 - Deputy Minister of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic.

From March 2007 to July 2008 - Chief of the Main Staff of the Armed Forces - First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic.

He took part in the 1980-1982 fighting in the limited contingent of Soviet troops in Afghanistan and in 2000 in the elimination of the bandits of international terrorists in southern Kyrgyzstan.

Awards: the Medal "to the Soldier-Internationalist from the grateful Afghan people", the medal "Kuzhurmon kyzmat ootongdugu uchun" I degree ("For perfect service in the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic") and other medals.
