ORMANBETOV Nurlan Sekenovich

Born on January 12, 1962. Born in s. Zaisan Zaisan district of the East Kazakhstan region. 

He graduated from the Kharkov Higher Military Aviation Order of the Red Star School of Pilots named twice Hero of the Soviet Union S.I. Gritsevets in 1983, the Yu.A. Air Force Academy Gagarin in 1996, the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in 2010.

From 1983 to 1987 - pilot, senior pilot and flight commander of a fighter regiment.

From 1987 to 1992 he served in the Northern Group of Forces (Poland): commander of a fighter aviation regiment, deputy squadron commander.

From 1992 to 1993 - Squadron commander in the military unit 21751.

In 1993, a student of the Air Force Order of the Red Banner Kutuzov Academy named after Yu.A. Gagarin.

In 1996 - deputy commander of the military unit 65229 for flight training.

 In 2000 - deputy commander of the military unit 21751 for flight training.

In 2002 - the commander of the air base (military unit 21751).

In 2007 - Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Air Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

In 2010 - First Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Air Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Chief of General Staff.

From 2012 - Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Air Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan (for combat training) - Head of the Main Directorate for Combat and Physical Training.

Since 2013 - Commander-in-Chief of the Air Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2017 - Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From February 2018 - Deputy Chief of the Joint Staff of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.

Class qualification: "Military pilot-sniper."

He was awarded the Order of "Courage", "For Military Merit", "For Service to the Motherland in the USSR Armed Forces III degree", medal of the Order for Services to the Fatherland II degree and departmental medals.
