Representatives of concerned ministries and departments of the CSTO member States held consultations in the CSTO Joint Staff on the issue of creating a unified system of technical coverage of railroads 24.11.2021

On November 23-24, in Moscow, in accordance with the Plan of consultations of representatives of ministries and departments of the CSTO member States on the issues of foreign policy, security and defense, on the basis of the CSTO Joint Staff under the chairmanship of the head of the interstate working group, Colonel Sergei Solovyov, the consultations were held on the creation of a unified system of technical coverage of railroads of the CSTO member States.

Representatives of the Ministries of Defense, Ministries of Transport and National Railways of the Republic of Armenia, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as staff members of the CSTO Secretariat and officers of the CSTO Joint Staff participated in the consultations.

In the course of consultations, draft documents regulating the functioning of the unified system of technical coverage of railroads of the Organization's member States were considered, finalized and agreed upon.

As a result of the consultations, agreements were reached on the procedure for further work to approve the documents by the CSTO statutory bodies.
