A working meeting was held between the Head of the CSTO Joint Staff and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Russia 18.02.2020
On February 18, 2020, Moscow hosted a working meeting between the Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff, Colonel General Anatoly Sidorov, and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation, Ermek Kosherbayev.

The event was also attended by Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Major General Timur Dandybaev, Plenipotentiary Representative of Kazakhstan to the Collective Security Treaty Organization, Zhanibek Imanaliev, and Deputy Chief of the Joint Staff of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, Major General Mukhamedzhan Talasov.

During the meeting, trends and prospects for the development of the military component of the Collective Security Treaty Organization were discussed. It was about the organization of joint operational and combat training events, the coordination of joint training of personnel and specialists for the armed forces of the CSTO member states, and military-technical cooperation.

The Head of the CSTO Joint Staff and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation also discussed coordination of the practical implementation of the decisions of the CSTO bodies in the field of military cooperation and the upcoming participation of the military contingent of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Victory Parade on Red Square.

Colonel General Anatoly Sidorov visited the Museum of Kazakh-Russian relations at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Russia and praised the exhibits there.
