The CSTO Joint Staff hosted a meeting of representatives of national bodies of the CSTO member states authorized to cooperate with the CSTO Crisis Response Center 01.06.2023

On May 30-31, in Moscow, on the basis of the CSTO Joint Staff, there was held a meeting of representatives of national bodies of the CSTO member states authorized to cooperate with the CSTO Crisis Response Center.
The heads of the Operational Control Centre of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, the Central Command Centre of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, the National Defense Management Centre of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Crisis Response Centre of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic, the National Defense Management Centre of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the Operational Control Points Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan took part in the event under the general supervision of the Colonel Emilbek Tukayev, the Deputy Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff. Representatives of the AntiTerrorist Center and the Coordination Service of the CIS Council of Border Troops Commanders, the CSTO Secretariat, and enterprises of the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation also participated in the meeting.
During the meeting the issues of improving information interaction in the format of the Organization, increasing the effectiveness of information exchange between the CSTO Crisis Response Center, the national bodies of the CSTO member states, management bodies of other interested ministries, agencies and organizations were discussed.
Major General Arsen Rakhmanov, Head of the CSTO Crisis Response Centre, noted in his report, that work to improve the system of information interaction was aimed at expanding sources of information about the military and political situation and at reducing the time it took to receive and transmit information. To this end, interaction has been organized with the CIS Council of Border Troops Commanders, a plan for basic joint measures to implement the Protocol on Cooperation has been approved, and information on the situation is regularly exchanged between the CSTO Crisis Response Centre duty services and the Coordination Service of the Council of Border Troops Commanders.
"Interaction with the CIS Antiterrorist Center is also being improved: a working meeting was organized between the heads of the CIS Antiterrorist Center and the CSTO Joint Staff, agreements were reached on the exchange of information of mutual interest, and reference and analytical materials are exchanged on a permanent basis," Arsen Rakhmanov said.
The meeting participants visited the National Defense Management Center of the Russian Federation and the National Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations and were acquainted with its capabilities.
The event provided an opportunity to discuss topical issues and identify areas for further work to improve the system of interstate information interaction within the CSTO.
