GURULYOV Sergey Petrovich
Born February 21, 1953 at the station Olovyannaya of the Chita Oblast of the RSFSR.
In 1974 he graduated from the Blagoveshchensk Higher Tank Command Red Banner School named after Marshal of the Soviet Union KA Meretskov. He served as commander of a training tank platoon, commander of a tank company, chief of staff and deputy commander of a tank battalion in the Trans-Baikal Military District and the Group of Soviet Forces in the GDR.
In 1986 he graduated with honors from the Military Order of Lenin and the October Revolution of the Red Banner Academy of Armored Forces named after Marshal of the Soviet Union R.Ya. Malinovsky. After graduating from the academy, further service was connected with Belarus, where he commanded a tank regiment, a motorized rifle division, and from 1993, a 50th Guards separate mechanized brigade.
In 1999 he graduated with honors from the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
From June 30, 2000– Commander of the 28th Army Corps of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus.
From February 6, 2001– Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces - First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Belarus.
Awards: Order of the Red Star, Order "For Service to the Motherland in the Armed Forces of the USSR", Art. II., Order for Service to the Motherland in the Armed Forces of the USSR, Art. III, Order of Friendship and other medals.
