The Collective Forces of Rapid Deployment of the Central Asian region and the CSTO Peacekeeping forces are preparing for the joint operational-strategic trainigs "Combat Brotherhood-2019"
27.06.2019From June 24 to June 26, the second headquarters negotiations on the organization of joint trainings “Indestructible Brotherhood-2019” with the Collective Rapid Deployment Forces of the Central Asian Region and the CSTO Peacekeeping forces, held within the framework of the operational-strategic exercise “Combat Brotherhood-2019”, took place in Dushanbe.
The negotiations were attended by delegations of interested ministries and departments from the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, representatives of the CSTO Joint Staff and the Secretariat of the Organization.
The negotiators reviewed and agreed on the organization of the leadership of the trainings, the composition of the contingents of the CSTO member states involved in the training, the content of combat training tasks, as well as the issues of comprehensive training support.
On the territory of Tajikistan, during a joint trainings, the Collective Rapid Deployment Forces of the Central Asian region will conduct a counter-terrorist operation in mountainous conditions. At the second stage of this exercise, a post-conflict settlement will be worked out: the CSTO Collective Peacekeeping forces will conduct a joint peacekeeping operation.
The exercise is conducted in accordance with the Plan for the joint training of management bodies and forces and facilities of the collective security system of the Collective Security Treaty Organization for 2019.
