SIDOROV 
Anatoly Alexeevich

Born on July 2, 1958 in the village of Siva, Sivinsky District, Perm Region. In 1975 he graduated from the Sverdlovsk Suvorov Military School, in 1979 - the Moscow Higher All-Arms Command School named after the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR. In 1991, he completed his studies at the command department of the Military Academy named after M.V. Frunze, in 2000 graduated from the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. 

   He passed military service in command positions in the Odessa, Turkestan, Transcaucasian, Volga-Ural, Ural, Far Eastern, Eastern and Western military districts. He took part in hostilities as part of the limited contingent of Soviet troops in Afghanistan, in the restoration of constitutional order in the Chechen Republic. 

2000 - 2002 - commander of the guards motorized rifle division, Far Eastern Military District;

2002 - 2004 - Deputy Army Commander, Far Eastern Military District;

2004 - 2006 - Chief of Staff - First Deputy Army Commander, Far Eastern Military District;

2006 - 2008 - Army Commander, Far Eastern Military District;

2008 - 2010 - Deputy Commander of the Far Eastern Military District;

2010 - 2012 - Chief of Staff - First Deputy Commander of the Eastern Military District, Chief of Staff - First Deputy Commander of the Western Military District;

2012 - 2015 - Commander of the Western Military District.

From November 2015 - Chief of the Joint Staff of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.

Awards: Order of Merit for the Fatherland, IV degree, Order of Military Merit, Order of the Red Star, as well as departmental medals.

Honored Military Specialist of the Russian Federation.

Candidate of Military Sciences.
